University Struggles

Category: Random, School

I had a few minutes of reflection a second ago.

Here’s the deal. If you’ve never attended a ”University,” you can’t begin to understand how much time is taken up by studying. I have been on summer vacation for about 3 weeks now, but I haven’t forgotten the struggle.

School, especially as an adult, is extremely difficult. You have so much to worry about. If you need money for school, you try to get scholarships. To get the scholarships, then you need to get good grades. In addition to this, you also need to work in order to pay for your daily expenses.

Attending University is nothing like attending a trade school, a technical school, or a school like Phoenix University. If you ever hear a person compare the two, stop them. Tech school is nothing like a four year University. I’ve attended both types of schools, and they don’t compare.

Graduates (employers) of established Universities also recognize the difference between tech school and University. Moreover, a degree one receives from attending a tech school isn’t worth a fraction of what a degree from a University is worth. Of course, if you have a degree from a tech school, it is better than nothing; but not by much.

To anyone who is considering a tech school over a University, stop right now. It may take you a bit longer, but its’ worth it in the long term, and it will most like cost you less if you attend a state school.
