It’s cold in California?
Super Cold! Especially in this house, we’re too poor to turn on the heat.
Imagine not having an AC in the summer… we didn’t get the AC until we were about 13 - and mom wouldnt turn that on either we had to beg… do you remember that?
Yup, I do. I never thought things would change, which they haven’t yet, but now I know that they will. Soon enough we will no longer need to suffer from life’s inequities. Plus, life experiences, like no heater on cold winter nights, build character.
