I was finally able to go watch Syriana after hearing a lot of good reviews about it. It is a complicated story so keep your eyes and ears open. In Syriana there are 3 different stories going on at the same time. George Clooney plays a CIA agent named Bob, which sells weapons illegally in other countries. One of those weapons ends up in the hands of an Egyptian. After living his short life oppressed by his own government he uses the American weapon to destroy a large ship filled with oil.

Matt Damon plays an American business man who sets out to become the advisor to Prince Nasir. Prince Nasir ends up being assassinated by the American government, because the American government feels that his younger brother, Prince Meshal will be more open to American big business. During the assassination Bob (Clooney) tries to warn the Prince, but in that effort gets killed with the Prince and his family.

All in all, this movie was good, but it was a bit complicated. I would recommend that you watch it, but wait for its release on DVD. So you could rent it at Blockbuster or Netflix.

Okay, so USC lost. I am deeply saddened by our loss. Vince Young is just too big. Whatever .

I rented The 40-Year-Old Virgin last night and it was so hilarious I watched it twice ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0405422/ ). The second time I watched it I turned the commentary turned on, and even that was really funny. I thought this movie was totally original and definitely worth my time. I also watched all the deleted scenes, extras, and hair waxing documentary; all of which were extremely funny. Apart from the actual movie, I used my makeshift home theatre for the first time. Man is it great! I’ll have to post some pictures when I get a chance, when I do, you will all be amazed. It’s in my garage, and the screen is over 9 ft wide. I set it up with decent speakers and it works great.

Alright, so here’s the deal, The 40-Year-Old Virgin is great (two thumbs up). Go rent it from blockbuster or netflix today.
