Kirsch Loud Speakers - White Van Speakers - Scam
Please don’t fall prey to this scam.Let me begin by saying buyer beware. Today on my way home from work I stopped at a gas station and was approached by a guy named Angel. He was driving a metallic brown Chevy SUV and had about 5 sets of home theater boxes in his truck. Well, as I was pumping gas, he asked me if I wanted to buy some speakers for my house. He said they made a mistake in the order and he had an extra system. He also said he didn’t want to take it back to the warehouse because his boss was just going to keep it and sell it on eBay. After turning him down the first time, he took out a magazine that showed these speakers for $3,000. And he was trying to sell them to me for $400. Well, I’m glad I didn’t bite. He tried to get me to make him an offer, but I left after pumping the gas. As I drove home I couldn’t help but think to myself: “man that was a good deal.”
As soon as I got home, I checked online and soon realized this was a scam. The scam is common and is known as the “White Van Speaker” scam. According to many websites Kirsch speakers are a huge rip-off. For you convenience, and to raise awareness, I will list a few links to other websites with similar stories.
