Sometimes it’s true what they say: “you get what you pay for.”
I tried to save a little money by purchasing a refurbished product on eBay. More specifically, it was a wireless Xbox controller. I chose to purchase this product from seller justdeals.com , which has a 98% positive rating. Here’s my summary of my experience.
Shipping:
super slow, took well over a week to receive.
Product:
tried using the controller and find out that the right thumb stick is broken.
Return:
I requested a return. So they ask me to send them this info: Website of purchase, Order number, Item Number, Your ID. I complied and they issued a rma# with very vague shipping instructions.
Return Shipping:
I new this transaction with justdeals.com was going to get a little sketchy so i purchased delivery confirmation service for the package.
Package arrival at justdeals.com:
According to the US postal service, my package was delivered on June 29th. I email justdeals.com on July 11th to see what the progress is. They claim they haven’t received my package and ask for a tracking number. At this point I’m happy I paid the extra 50 cents for the delivery confirmation. I emailed them the tracking number and they never replied.
Call to justdeals.com:
I called just deals on July 12th to see what the deal was, I rude woman answers and says: “Yeah, we got you package. We’ll check the warehouse to see if we have any more available so that we can exchange it.”
I knew this was B.S. and that i probably would never receive anything in return. Today I received a refund, but no email response to any other email, and no apology for terrible service.
If I were you, I would avoid this company at all costs. So you save ten bucks. Those ten dollars aren’t worth if after you have to ship it back, and maybe not ever receive a refund.
Terrible service.
